Österreichisches versus Bundesdeutsches Deutsch. Einfaches Sprachmanagement in Interaktionen zwischen österreichischen und deutschen Muttersprachlern

Abstract

Nejpozději od roku 1986, od Mezinárodní učitelské konference v Bernu, je němčina mezi jazykovědci uznána jako pluricentrický jazyk, a tudíž lze nejpozději od tohoto roku hovořit o existenci více jazykových center a zároveň i vzájemně si rovných národních variet němčiny. Také v souvislosti s postupující decentralizací moci a s tím související regionalizací ve světě a zároveň se vstupem Rakouska do Evropské unie v roce 1995, která přinesla mnohé diskuze a především "Protokol č. 10" s 23 austriacizmy, zažila 90. léta doslova boom v produkci pluricentricky zaměřené literatury. Mnoho studií bylo věnováno také výzkumu a popisu rakouské spisovné variety němčiny. Zároveň se ukazuje, že přese všechnu deklarovanou rovnost národních variet mluvčí sami buď o existenci více spisovných variet nevědí, nejsou schopni určit, čím se vyznačují, popř. považují jen jednu národní varietu za spisovnou. Tyto názory, postoje a hodnocení, stejně jako případné problémy mluvčích související s existencí národních variet budou v této práci popsány a analyzovány s pomocí nástrojů teorie jazykového managementu. Východiskem k analýze jsou autentické rozhovory německých a rakouských rodilých mluvčí. Důležitým bodem výzkumu je i to, jakým způsobem pluricentrický koncept na mikrorovině funguje a popř. jak a jaké národní variety sami...

Since at least 1986, from the International German Teachers conference in Bern, the German language has been recognized among linguists as a pluricentric language. Therefore, it is possible to speak about more language centres, and also about national and equal varieties of one language. In connection with the decentralization of power and regionalization in the world, as well as the accession of Austria to the European Union, which brought above all the "Protocol Nr. 10" with 23 specific Austrian words, the nineties experienced a boom in the production of pluricentric oriented literature. Many papers were also being focused on the research of the Austrian German. However, despite the declared equality of national varieties, their speakers are often not sure about the existence of more standard varieties, their characteristics or equality. These views, attitudes and evaluations as well as potential problems associated with the national varieties, will be described and analyzed by using the tools of the Language Management Theory. The starting points are authentic interviews of Austrian and German native speakers. An important focus of the research is also the way in which the pluricentric concept works at the micro level and how and what national varieties the speakers themselves are constructing....
