Lidská práva a biometrické technologie

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem lidských práv a biometrických technologií. Pojednává o vzrůstajícím používání biometrických technologií, které stále častěji vstupují do života velkého množství lidí a poukazuje na jejich přínosy i rizika. Na biometrické technologie nahlíží skrze lidsko-právní standardy. Ukazuje přitom postavení i hranice lidských práv v těchto otázkách. Zabývá se jednotlivými biometrickými technologiemi, včetně konkrétního způsobu jejich využití. Poukazuje pomocí množství příkladů na zneužití biometrických technologií z blízké i vzdálené minulosti a pomocí těchto zkušeností pohlíží do budoucnosti této technologie.

This bachelor thesis deals with human rights and biometrical technologies. It treats increasing use of biometrical technologies which influence more and more often the lives of considerable number of people and it points out the advantages and disadvantages of this method. Biometrical technologies are here regarded from the human rights standards' point of view. It shows the attitude and limits of human rights concerning these issues. It deals with individual biometrical technologies including particular way of their utilization. It points out misuse of biometrical technologies in the past by means of numerous examples and uses them to outline future usage of these technologies.
