Resocializace bývalých vězňů v České republice a Spojených státech amerických rozdílnost přístupu OOS a role dobrovolníků

Abstract

This master thesis is aimed at comparison of two different non-profit organizations which are using grassroot, respectively professionalize model. These models were examined on the example of two non-profit organizations which deal with re-socialization of ex- offenders. One is located in the Czech Republic, the other one in the United States of America. The aim of this thesis is to describe the differences between these organization with special aim at the differ role of volunteers, different services that are provided and the relationship with the community while using techniques such as interviews, stadium of the available documents and case study methods. In the end, the result is that both organizations are following the rules that are set up within community or professional model and as such they also treat the volunteers.

Diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáním profesionalizovaného a komunitního modelu vedení neziskových organizací. Tyto modely byly sledovány na příkladu organizací, které se zabývají resocializaci propuštěných vězňů a to v České republice a ve Spojených státech. Cílem práce je skrze zúčastněné pozorování, polostrukturované rozhovory a studium dokumentů popsat odlišnost těchto organizací zejména s ohledem na rozdílnost přístupu k dobrovolníkům, na odlišnost služeb, které obě organizace nabízejí i na vztah s komunitou, který obě organizace mají. Výsledkem je, že obě organizace splňují podstatu toho, co je komunitní a profesionalizovaný model organizace a těmito modely se řídí i v rámci spolupráce s dobrovolníky
