Ch. W. Gluck, opera seria, Ezio, dramaturgy(česky): Práce se věnuje hudebně-dramatické analýze opery Ezio skladatele Ch. W. Glucka, se zaměřením na hlavní postavu Ezia. Práce shrnuje dosavadní znalosti o opeře, premiérované v roce 1750 v pražském divadle V Kotcích a zasazuje dílo do dobového kontextu opery seria. Analýze je dále podroben námět a libreto opery, stejně jako všechny árie hlavního hrdiny. Práce obsahuje i kapitolu, porovnávající dvě verze opery, a sice "pražskou" z roku 1750 a "vídeňskou" z roku 1763. Autor ukazuje význam postavy v koncepci dramaturgie celé opery a dopad skladatelova zhudebnění na povahu role.
(in English): This is a musicological and dramatic analysis of Ezio, an opera by Christoph Willibald Gluck. The analysis concentrates on the main character of the opera. The thesis summarises the existing knowledge about Ezio, which had its premiere in the Prague "V Kotcich" Theatre in 1750. Gluck's musical oeuvre is discussed within the period context of opera seria. The thesis also analyses the theme and the libretto of the opera, as well as all the arias sung by the principal character. There is also a chapter which compares two different versions of the opera, i.e the "Prague" version of 1750 and the "Viennese" version of 1763. The thesis analyses the meaning of the main character within the concept of the dramaturgy of the opera as well as the impact of Gluck's music on the nature of the role of Ezio.
