Die Darstellung der Konzentrationslager Ravensbrück und Neuengamme und deren Umgebung anhand von Dokumenten und Augenzeugenberichten

Abstract

V mé bakalářské práci se věnuji tématu zobrazování koncentračních táborů Ravensbrück a Neuengamme a jejich okolí v dokumentární literatuře. Zabývám se tím, jak okolní městečka a vesnice spolupracovaly s koncentračními tábory a jak se vypořádaly s faktem, že v jejich blízkosti bylo něco takového jako koncentrační tábor. Toto téma zkoumám jak z pohledu obyvatel okolních vesnic a městeček, tak z pohledu vězňů. Zaměřuji se na výpovědi tehdejších obyvatel a zabývám se tím, jak omluvili fakt, že koncentrační tábor akceptovali. Z pohledu vězňů jsem soustředila informace o tom, jak se dostávali do kontaktu s civilním obyvatelstvem.

In my bachelor thesis I focus on the display of Ravensbrück and Neuengamme concentration camps and their surroundings in the documentary literature. I examine how the people of the neighborhood towns and villages cooperated with the concentration camps, how they dealt with and how they accepted the fact that a concentration camp was so close by. I explore this topic from the point of view of the people who lived in that area as well as from the point of view of the prisoners from the concentration camps. A further focus is drawn to the prisoners themselves and how, or in what way they were in contact with the civilian population.
