Svätováclavské milénium optikou dobovej tlače

Abstract

Bakalárska práca sa sústredí na svätováclavské milénium, tj. na pripomenutie náboženského, kultúrneho a politického významu svätca sv. Václava. Najintenzívnejšie oslavy prebehli v poslednej septembrovej dekáde roku 1929. Ústrednou témou práce bude práve ohlas hlavných osláv v českej dennej tlači. Samozrejme v práci nebude opomenutý vývoj svätováclavskej tradície, prípravy milénia či ďalšie udalosti spojené so svätováclavským výročím. V sekundárnej literatúre bola táto problematika spracovaná čiastočne, čoho chce autorka využiť pri svojej analýze dobových prameňov. Z nich sa autorka bude sústrediť na dobovú tlač. I keď jej pozornosti neuniknú publikácie, ktoré vznikli v súvisloti s miléniom, či publikácie, ktoré sa venujú osobe sv. Václava.

This bachelor thesis focuses on St. Wenceslas's millennium, which means to put in remembrance religious, cultural and political meaning of St. Wenceslas. The most intensive celebrations took place in the last September decade of 1929. The pivotal theme of the work is a response to the main celebrations in the Czech daily press. There is not of course forgotten St. Wenceslas's tradition development, millennium preparations or other events linked to St. Wenceslas's anniversary. These problematics were processed just partially in minor literature and that is why the author wants to make use of it in her analysis of historic sources. So she concentrates on historic press. Although the publications, which originated in connection with the millennium, or the ones that address St. Wenceslas do not escape her attention, too.
