Portorická španělština se zaměřením na slovní zásobu

Abstract

(česky): Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá slovní zásobu portorické španělštiny, která obsahuje značné množství charakteristických rysů obecně platných pro americkou španělštinu (její lexikální rovinu). Je zde také zařazen stručný přehled dějin země, jelikož každé období mělo určitý dopad na její jazyk. V práci je následně popsáno teoretické pozadí každého typického aspektu portorického lexikonu; zejména jeho původ, nebo definice. Poté následuje část praktičtějšího charakteru; v ní jsou uvedeny konkrétní příklady pro každou oblast slovní zásoby. Z této kapitoly jsou posléze vyvozeny závěry shrnující nejdůležitější poznatky o zkoumaných lexikálních rysech. Poslední popisovanou oblastí je situace angličtiny na ostrově a přítomnost portorické španělštiny na území Spojených států. Zaměřil jsem se na konkrétní případy vzájemného ovlivňování obou oficiálních jazyků, tedy užívání anglicismů a projev spanglish. V závěru práce jsem se mj. pokusil nastínit východiska pro budoucí vývoj této problematiky v Portoriku.

(in English): This Bachelor's Thesis examines the Puerto Rican Spanish vocabulary, which contains a large number of typical features, generally applicable to American Spanish (on a lexical level). A brief overview of the history of the country is also included, as each historical period has had some impact on its language. The paper then describes the theoretical background of every typical feature of the Puerto Rican lexicon, especially its origin or definition. This is followed by a practically focused part, in which specific examples for each aspect in vocabulary. From this chapter conclusions are then drawn summarizing the most important findings of the examined lexical features. The last described area is the situation of English on the island and the presence of Puerto Rican Spanish in the United States. I focused on the specific case of the interaction of both official languages, thus involving the use of anglicisms and Spanglish speech. In conclusion, I have tried to show, inter alia, the basis for the future development of this issue in Puerto Rico.
