Nabídka spotřebního zboží a služeb v Opavě v době tzv. normalizace

Abstract

Tato práce bude pojednávat o nabídce spotřebního zboží ve městě Opava a dostupnosti různých služeb pro místní občany v letech takzvané normalizace. Práce si bude klást otázku, co v Opavě a jejím okolí bylo, co chybělo či jak byli s celou nabídkou spotřebního zboží a služeb spokojeni místní obyvatelé. Práce bude sledovat proměny veřejného prostoru města v souvislosti se změnami nabídky. Celá diplomová práce se bude mimo jiné opírat o rozhovory s pamětníky s tímto prostředím spjatých. K tomu bude využita jako jedna z metod bádání také orální historie. Tato metoda v oblasti soudobých dějin, na které se tato práce bude soustředit, využívá toho, že účastníci zkoumaného období a zároveň jeho svědkové stále žijí a mohou se tedy na základě svých zážitků, zkušeností, vzpomínek k minulým událostem vyjádřit.1 1 Vaněk, M. a kol.: Orální historie (skriptum). This thesis is going to discuss the supply of non-durarable goods in Opava and the accessibility of different services for its inhabitants during the time of so-called normalization. It will examine what services and non-durable goods were available in Opava and its surroundings and what services and non-durable goods was Opava lacking as well as the level of satisfaction of local people with the scale of supply of those goods and services. The thesis will follow the transformation of public spaces in the city with regard to the change of discussed supply. Relevance of this thesis is strengthened by interviews with contemporary witnesses associated with this area. Oral history as one of the methods of research will also be used for this approach. This method in the area of contemporary history, the most important epoch in this thesis, is working with the fact that participants of the reviewed period are still alive and can comment past events based on their own experience and memories.
