Prvky xenofobie a veřejné mínění

Abstract

Tato práce se formou sekundární analýzu zaměřuje na problematiku xenofobie a pohledu na ni ze strany veřejnosti. Primárním zdrojem dat pro níže uvedené analýzy byl výzkum Centra pro výzkum veřejného mínění (CVVM) z roku 2011, zaměřený mimo jiné na téma cizinců v České republice (dále jen ČR). Hlavním cílem této práce je odhalit a ověřit tendence a postoje většinové české veřejnosti k tématu cizinců na našem území. Obsah práce je z formálního hlediska rozdělen do dvou základních částí, teoretické a empirické. Teoretická část, je věnována vymezení pojmu xenofobie. Zaměřujeme se zde na definici tohoto pojmu a na teorie vzniku xenofobie v dostupné literatuře a teorii. Důležitou podkapitolou, které je na pomezí teorie a metodologie, jsou možnosti operacionalizace pojmu xenofobie. Stěžejní pro celou práci je také čtvrtá podkapitola teoretické části práce, zabývající se vůbec pojmem cizinec a jeho zařazením nejenom jako objektu xenofobního chování či jednání. Krátce se v této části práce dotkneme také tématu cizinců na území ČR. Třetí kapitola práce je věnována metodologii. Jsou zde krátce zmíněny základní předpoklady vztahů mezi xenofobií a dalšími proměnnými a čtenáři jsou přiblíženy primární datové soubory. Kapitola je plynulým přechodem od teorie k empirii. This tesis focuses on the issue of xenophobia and the meaning of public opinion about xenophobia by the template of secondary data analysis. The primary source for presented analysis was the research of The Center of Independent Public Opinion Research of the year 2011, which focused among other things on topic of foreigners in Czech republic. The main purpose of this tesis is to discover and to verify tendencies and attitudes of major czech public to the topic of foreigners living in our country. The tesis is from formaly standpoint separated into two basic parts. The theoretical part focuses on the very concept of xenophobia. It is the definition of this term. The focus is either concentrated to the theories of creation of xenophobia in the literature and theory. Between empirical and methodological part is a short chapter of operationalization of xenophobia concept. Fundamental part of the theoretical part is the chapter about the term foreigner itself where is defined how is this term used in all the tesis. Some space is push ahead with the description of foreigners living on the territory of Czech republic. Third chapter focuses on methodology.
