Tereza Chlaňová, Ph.D. Abstrakt: Diplomová práce je věnována současné divadelní situaci na Západní Ukrajině, profesním a amatérským divadelním kolektivům. Zvláštní pozornost je soustředěna zejména na divadelní festivaly, jejich organizaci, ekonomické a tvůrčí problémy. Cílem práce je na příkladě těchto festivalů analyzovat celkovou situaci na Západní Ukrajině v oblasti organizace festivalů a zjistit, s jakými problémy se musí profesionální a amatérské kolektivy potýkat. Úvodní kapitola je věnována divadelní tradici na Ukrajině obecně a zejména v námi vyznačeným regionu. Snahou je charakterizovat hlavní divadelní tendence na Západní Ukrajině. Stěžejní část práce je zaměřena na rozbor konkrétních festivalů, jejich historii, složení repertoáru apod. Na základě této analýzy pak můžeme vyhodnotit situaci ukrajinského divadelního prostředí. Tereza Chlaňová, Ph.D. Abstract: This thesis focuses on the current situation in the area of theatrical arts in Western Ukraine, with respect to professional, as well as amateur theatre societies. Special regard is given to theatre-oriented festivals and the organizational, economic and creative challenges pertaining thereto. It is the objective of this thesis to analyze the overall state of affairs concerning the organization of dramatic festivals in Western Ukraine, and examine the predicaments encountered by the participating ensembles, both professional and amateur. The introductory chapter presents the theatrical tradition of Ukraine in general, focusing its geographical scope to correspond with the work's primary region of interest; while aiming to portray the dominant dramatic tendencies of Western Ukraine. Subsequently, the thesis proceeds to analyze specific instances of theatre festivals, their history, program structure etc. Based on this analysis, the overall condition of the Ukrainian dramatic scene is assessed and conclusions formulated.
