Stav a perspektivy využití geotermální energie na Islandu

Abstract

V práci se pojednává o geografických a geologických podmínkách na Islandu v jejich kontextu s geotermální energií. Dále se zabývá její historií na Islandu, minulým i současným využitím, snaží se shrnout základní přístupy k jejímu získávání a seznámit s výhodami i nevýhodami geotermální energie. Závěr práce se zaměřuje na nejnovější projekty, jejichž plány zasahují do nejbližší budoucnosti, zvláště se práce zabývá projektem IDDP, jehož cílem je navrtat se do neznámých podmínek v blízkosti magmatického krbu.

This thesis focuses mainly on the Iceland area and deals with the geographical and geological conditions within the context of geothermal energy. The thesis also focuses on history of Iceland, past and current utilization, tries to summarize basic types of acquisition and evaluates advantages and disadvantages of geothermal energy. The end of the thesis focuses on the latest projects, which interfere in the nearest future. Especially, the thesis is concerned with the IDDP project, which aims to drill into unknown conditions close to the magma chamber.
