Abstract

Résumé Tato diplomová práce se zabývá třemi českými univerzitami v letech 1947 - 1950, Univerzitou Karlovou v Praze, Masarykovou univerzitou v Brně a Univerzitou Palackého v Olomouci. Abych mohl události okolo února 1948 popsat a následně srovnat, bylo třeba se vrátit o pár let zpět, tedy k době krátce po skončení druhé světové války, neboť poválečný vývoj má bezesporu vliv na dění v následujícím období. Po skončení války se univerzity musely potýkat s personálními a hmotnými ztrátami. Mnoho profesorů se na svá pedagogická a vědecká místa nevrátilo, velká část jich zemřela v důsledku nacistického teroru. Neutěšený stav budov, které byly především bombardováním či jinými výbuchy poškozeny, řešila především Masarykova univerzita v Brně. Bezprostředně po válce řešily univerzity v Praze a Brně personální zaměstnaneckou očistu od kolaborantů a lidí jinak se provinivší proti národní cti a státu. Nejvíce byla postižena brněnská univerzita. Byly ovšem i případy, kdy obvinění bylo nepravdivé, jen na základě nepravd a polopravd či z pouhého lidského vyřizování si účtů z dob minulých. Další problém nastal při enormním zájmu mladých lidí o studium, kdy se zájem o vysoké školy v důsledku uzavření českých vysokých škol nacisty na podzim 1939 (do r.1945) navýšil. Résumé This thesis examines the situation at three Czech universities in 1947 - 1950, Charles University in Prague, Masaryk University in Brno and Palacky University in Olomouc. To have an event around February 1948 to describe and then compare, it was necessary to go back to the time shortly after the Second World War, as the post-war development has undoubtedly influence on events in the following period. After the war the University had to deal with personnel and material losses. Many professors on their teaching and research space not returned, many of them died under the Nazi terror. Dismal state of buildings, which were mainly bombing explosions or other damage, especially to address Masaryk University, Brno. Directly after the war dealt University in Prague and Brno employee personnel cleansing of collaborators and people otherwise guilty against the state and national honor.
