Metternichové aneb Klemens Václav Lothar Metternich se žení

Abstract

Práce pojednává v první části o dějinách rodu Metternichů s mušlemi v erbu a o historii druhého, méně známého rodu Metternichů se lvem v erbu. Následně se práce věnuje teoriím ohledně příbuznosti těchto dvou rodů. Dalším významným bodem této práce je shrnutí profesního i osobního života rakouského státního kancléře Klemense Metternicha, jehož sňatky jsou rozebrány v samostatné kapitole. Cílem práce je za pomoci analýzy dostupné literatury a dosud nevyužitých pramenů podat ucelený pohled na dějiny rodu včetně náhledu do problematiky dějin druhého rodu Metternichů, dále rozvinout téma sňatků státního kancléře Klemense Metternicha a v neposlední řadě zhodnotit zásadní publikace o těchto tématech pojednávající.

The first part of this work discusses the history of house Metternich with shells in their heraldry and also about another less significant house Metternich with lion in their heraldry. Furthermore this work summarizes the theories about kinship between these two houses. Another significant point of this work is the personal life of Austrian state chancellor Klemens Metternich and his marriages, which are analyzed in a separate chapter. The goal of this work is to analyse available literature and to this time unused sources and bring a comprehensive view of the problematic of the history this house and of the second house Metternich as well as to unfold the topic of marriages of the state chancellor Klemens Metternich and review essential publication dealing with these topics.
