Obraz investigativních novinářů v hollywoodském filmu

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na zobrazení novinářské profese v hollywoodských filmech (od 70. let do současnosti), konkrétně pak na investigativní žurnalistiku. V první části se autorka věnuje otázce, proč je investigativní žurnalistika atraktivní pro filmové zpracování a vymezuje konkrétní atributy investigativní žurnalistiky, které jsou pro budování filmového příběhu (fiktivního i založeného na autentické události) vhodné. Druhá část se věnuje filmovým formátům, ve kterých se novinářská profese uplatňuje, se zvláštním zaměřením na investigativní žurnalistiku a žánr politického thrilleru. Třetí část analyzuje konkrétní filmy s cílem formulovat základní atributy typologie investigativního novináře ve filmu.

This thesis focuses on the depiction of journalists in Hollywood films from the 70s to the present, with special focus on investigative journalism. In the first part, the author deals with the question of why investigative journalism is attractive as a subject for film, and defines the specific attributes of investigative journalism, that are suitable for film stories, whether fictional or based on authentic events. In the second part, the author focuses on film genres in which the journalistic profession is portrayed with a special focus on investigative journalism and political thrillers. The main part analyzes individual films in order to define the basic attributes of investigative journalists in film.
