Sociální sítě v životě teenegerů

Abstract

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jakou roli hrají SNS (Social Network Sites) a Internet v životech dnešních teenagerů. Především, kolik času tato věková skupina věnuje zmíněným fenoménům, jaký jim přikládá význam a jak se teenageři, jejich rodiče a pedagogové staví k rizikům, která jsou spojena s životem v online světě. Teoretický rámec práce je postaven, vedle zasazení tématu do historického kontextu vývoje Internetu a SNS, především na pracích a výzkumech danah boydové, Sonii Livingstoneové a Zeynep Tufekciové. Jsou v něm mimo jiné rozlišeny typy SNS, rozebrány důvody k užívání SNS, popsána nejčastější rizika spojená s užíváním Internetu, ale také objasněny některé fámy a mýty, které jsou běžně s online světem spojovány. Dále v teoretické části představuji vlastní rozdělení SNS podle míry anonymity uživatelů na Anonymní SNS, Kvazi-anonymní SNS a Neanonymní SNS. Toto rozdělení vychází z aplikace interních institucí podle Stefana Voigta na prostředí Internetu. Výzkumná část, založená na kvantitativním výzkumu (n = 543), analyzuje situaci českých teenagerů studujících víceletá gymnázia v pěti hlavních oblastech: Využívanost SNS, Čas strávený na Internetu a SNS, Online bezpečnost, Přátelství na Facebook.com, Role SNS v životech teenagerů. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to discover what role the SNS (Social Network Sites) and the Internet play in lives of today's teenagers. Primarily, how much time this age group devotes to those phenomenons mentioned above, what importance it assignes to them and what attitude teenagers, their parents and teachers assume to risks bound to life in an online world. The theoretical framework of the thesis is based on, apart from setting this topic into the historical context of the evolution of the Internet and SNS, most importantly on the work of danah boyd, Sonia Livingstone and Zeynep Tufekci. There are, among others, distinguished the types of SNS, analysed the reasons for using the SNS, described the most frequent risks associated with use of the Internet, but also clarified some of the rumours and myths usualy connected with the online world. Moreover, in the theoretical part I introduce the actual deviding of SNS according to the extent of anonymity of the users of Anonymous SNS, Quasi-Anonymous SNS and Non-Anonymous SNS.
