Identifikace respondenta jako člena gangu v ISRD-2: Česká repulika v evropském kontextu

Abstract

Tato práce se zaměřuje na problematiku identifikace respondenta jako člena gangu z hlediska procesu operacionalizace, respektive výběru správných indikátorů, v mezinárodním výzkumu International Self-Report Delinquency Study 2. Jejím cílem je pokusit se o revizi stávající definice gangu podle skupiny Eurogang pro vybrané evropské země a zhodnotit možnosti vytvoření univerzální definice gangu napříč Evropou. Obsahově je práce rozdělena na teoretickou, metodologickou a empirickou část. V první části věnujeme pozornost zejména vymezení základních pojmů týkajících se delikvence mládeže. Následně se zabýváme existencí různých typů a způsobů tvorby definic. Nakonec uvádíme významné definice gangu, které jsou často používány jako výchozí bod mnoha výzkumů zaměřujících se jak na gangy samotné, tak na delikventní skupiny obecně. V metodologické části práce představíme nejdůležitější ukazatele delikvence mládeže: oficiální statistiky a self-reportové studie. Jednou z nich je i mezinárodní výzkum ISRD-2. Zmíníme se nejen o technice sběru dat a operacionalizaci definice gangu podle skupiny Eurogang, které byly ve výzkumu použity, ale uvedeme také základní informace o výběrovém souboru pro všechny analyzované země a limity výzkumu jako takového. This thesis focuses on problems with identification of respondent as a gang member from the standpoint of process of operationalisation, which give a selection of adequate indicators, in international survey International Self-Report Delinquency Study 2. Its objective is to propose a revision of existing definition of Eurogang for selected European countries and evaluate the possibility of creating one universal definition of a gang across Europe. The thesis is separated into three parts: theoretical, methodological and empirical. In the first part we particularly pay attention to the basic conceptions of juvenile delinquency. Subsequently, we discuss different types of definitions and the way of their formation. Finally, we mention important definitions of a gang that are often used in many surveys which focus on gangs or delinquent groups in general. In methodological part of the thesis we present the most important indicators of juvenile delinquency: official statistics and self-report studies.
