Zahrnuje i specifiku neverbální komunikace s pacientem na umělé plicní ventilaci. Empirická část je založena na dotazníkovém šetření, které proběhlo na vybraných odděleních ve Fakultní nemocnici v Motole v Praze. Předmětem zkoumání byly znalosti a zkušenosti všeobecných sester ohledem neverbální komunikace s pacientem, možnosti neverbální komunikace u pacientů na umělé plicní ventilaci.

It consists of two parts - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part explains communication in general, nonverbal communication in the process of medical care. Specifics of nonverbal communication with the patient on artificial lung ventilation are part and parcel of the thesis. The empirical part is based on a survey presented by a questionnaire assigned to selected departments in Faculty hospital Motol in Prague. The subject of the research lies in knowledge as well as experience of general nurses on the basis of nonverbal communication with the patient, posibilities of nonverbal communication with patients on artifiacial lung ventilation.
