Environmentální estetika Arnolda Berleanta

Abstract

Cílem práce bylo zaměřit se na environmentální estetiku amerického estetika Arnolda Berleanta. Zaměřili jsme se nejprve na jeho teoretické estetické názory a poté přecházíme k jejich uplatnění na poli environmentální estetiky. Pro srovnání Berleantových názorů jsme použili práci dalšího amerického estetika, Allena Carlsona. V oblasti teoretických estetických názorů nelze u Berleanta pominout pojmy estetická zkušenost, hodnota a sociální faktor. Tyto body se stávají ústředními pilíři Berleantovy estetiky účasti, kterou bychom rádi blíže představili. Jako velmi přínosné pro environmentální estetiku nám také přijde Berleantovo zhodnocení jednotlivých negativních a pozitivních estetických hodnot. U Allena Carlsona pracujeme na poli teoretické estetiky s několika modely. Autor zhodnocuje jejich větší či menší funkčnost pro environmentální estetiku. Posledním bodem této práce je zaměření se na určitý typ prostředí, konkrétněji na architekturu a zábavní park. Zde jsme chtěli ukázat, jak Berleant pracuje s estetickým hodnocením u konkrétního typu prostředí. Allen Carlson si vybral jako určitý typ prostředí americké farmy. The aim of this dissertation is focusing on environmental aesthetics of Arnold Berleant. Firstly we concentrated on his theoretical aesthetics opinions and then we passed to use them on field of environmental aesthetics. To draw a comparison we used writings of another American aesthetician, Allen Carlson. In sphere of Berleant's theoretical aesthetics opinions it is not possible to omit concepts of aesthetical experience, value and social factor. These points are important ideas of aesthetics of engagement, which we would like to present. As useful for environmental aesthetics we also see Berleant evaluation of negative and positive aesthetics values. In case of Allen Carlson we use several models in the field of theoretical aesthetics. The author assessments the functionality of these models for environmental aesthetics. The last point of this dissertation is focusing on a certain type of environment, to architecture and "Disney World", respective. In this field we wanted to demonstrate how the Berleant works with certain type of environment. Allen Carlson chooses as certain type of environment American farms.
