Obraz regionu v dílech spisovatelů Těšínského Slezska ve vybraných dílech Jana Kubisze

Abstract

Cílem této bakalářské práce Obraz regionu v dílech spisovatelů Těšínského Slezska ve vybraných dílech Jana Kubisze je přiblížení celkové tvorby Jana Kubisze, spisovatele, učitele a aktivního činitele, širší veřejnosti, a také zobrazení faktorů, ovlivňujících jeho tvorbu a formují totožnost obyvatel z Těšínska. Za tímto účelem byl nastíněn historický vývoj na Těšínském Slezsku, který se viditelně odrážel v Kubiszově tvorbě, zejména v Pamiętniku starego nauczyciela. Zobrazila jsem také celkové literární pozadí na Těšínském Slezsku, aby byly patrné některé jevy, které jsou charakteristické pro tento literární region. Také byl naznačen postoj Kubisze ke germanizačním vlivům a národnostním otázkám. O pokusu předání jeho odkazu dalším generacím pojednávám v analýze těšínské hymny. Pro lepší orientaci v termínech, které používám v textu, jsem vytvořila jednu zvláštní kapitolu, která se věnuje této problematice. Abych mohla vyjádřit vliv tvorby Kubisze na regionální identitu lidí, uvádím na konci této bakalářské práce studii a interpretuji jednotlivé výsledky výzkumu. The goal of this thesis entitled The Analysis of the Portrayal of the Region in the Works of the Teschen Silesian Writers via Kubisz's Writings is to bring the life's work of Jan Kubisz-known writer, educator, and community organizer-into public discourse, and to demonstrate the aspects which have influenced both his creations and a Teschenian mentality. We begin with presenting a historical research of the region whose basis rests in Kubisz's works, primarily in Pamiętnik starego nauczyciela. We also discuss the literary characteristics of Teschenian Silesia in order to pinpoint distinctive local tendencies and issues. We proceed to examine Kubisz's approach to Germanization of the region and his handling of nationalism. The analysis of the Teschenian anthem illustrates Kubisz's legacy for the future generations. In order to facilitate the understanding of the terms used in this thesis, the additional chapter outlines their meanings and connotations. Finally, we show the impact of Kubisz's works on local population and its understanding of identity by introducing separate study and interpreting its outcomes.
