Komentovaný překlad: Understanding Muhammad: A Psychobiography (A. Sina, Felibric.com, Burlington, 2008)

Abstract

Cílem této bakalářské práce je pořídit adekvátní překlad úryvku z odborné publikace kanadsko íránského autora Alího Siny Understanding Muhammad: A Psychobiography. Překlad je doprovázen odborným komentářem zaměřujícím se na překladatelskou analýzu originálního textu, popis metody překladu a typologii překladatelských problémů a nezbytných posunů.

The aim of this bachelor work is to adequately translate a passage from Understanding Muhammad: A Psychobiography; a book written by a Canadian Iranian author Ali Sina. The translation is accompanied by a commentary in the form of an academic study. The commentary includes an analysis of the original text with regard to the aspects relevant for a translation, a description of the method used in the translation and a typology of problems and necessary shifts in translation.
