Vývoj meziválečného italského divadla skrze osobnost Massima Bontempelli

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na život a tvorbu italského spisovatele Massima Bontempelli (1878 - 1960) zejména v meziválečném období 20. století. Chronologicky je tak pojednáno o politicko-společenské situaci tehdejší Itálie se stručnou zmínkou o uměleckém kontextu. Nadále se pak práce věnuje již samotnému autorovi. Od Bontempelliho biografických údajů je pozornost přenesena nejprve k jeho zásadním prozaickým dílům, včetně vyložení tvůrčích zásad a záměrů, a poté se obrací zejména na autorovu dramatiku se stručnou informací ke každé divadelní hře. Závěrečná kapitola pak podrobněji analyzuje tři Bontempelliho dramata s důrazem na výše popsané teoretické poznatky.

This bachelor thesis is focused mainly on the interwar (1918 - 1939) life and work of the Italian writer Massimo Bontempelli (1878 - 1960). The political and social situation in then Italy is described chronologically, together with the brief reference to the art context.. Then the thesis targets the author himself. Its interest concentrates, via Bontempelli's biographical datas, mainly on his dramas with brief information about each of them and also on author's prosaic masterpieces, including the explication of his creative principles. Afterwards the last chapter analyses in details three Bontempelli's dramas with the emphasis on the theoretical knowledge mentioned above.
