V první části se věnuje zákonným opatřením a třídění památek s důrazem na kategorii národních pokladů. Následuje část o organizacích, které se zabývají ochranou, správou, výzkumem a propagací památek. Poté jsou zmíněny památky UNESCO a v souvislosti s tím i dvě Koreou sponzorované ceny. Poslední část pojednává o snaze Korejců o navrácení původem korejských památek ze zahraničí zpět do Koreje.
This thesis deals with Korean Approach to their Cultural Heritage. The first part focuses on the legal measures and categorization of the cultural heritage with emphasis on the category of national treasures. The following part deals with organizations concerned with the protection, administration, research and promotion of monuments. In the next chapter are mentioned cultural properties inscribed on the UNESCO list together with two prizes sponsored by the Republic of Korea. The last part describes the efforts of Koreans for the return of Korean cultural heritage from abroad.
