Jan Šembera z Boskovic, velmož moravské renesance

Abstract

Práce je koncipována jako krátká biografie Jana Šembery Černohorského z Boskovic, posledního mužského potomka starého panského rodu pán z Boskovic. Tento moravský aristokrat, který žil ve druhé polovině 16. století, vynikal nevšedním bohatstvím, ale hlavně svým životním stylem renesančního bonvivána. Práce zachycuje jeho osudy od dětství až do smrti, které zařazuje do kontextu doby a stavovské společnosti a končí převzetím boskovického odkazu Lichtenštejny. Na základě pramen a literatury se věnuje i vlastní šlechticově osobnosti a vyrovnává se s dědictvím legend a příběh vzniklých o Janu Šemberovi, ale i rané historiografie.

The bachelor thesis is conceived as a short biography of Jan Šembera Černohorský of Boskovice, the last male descendant of the old aristocratic family of Boskovice. The Moravian aristocrat, who lived in the second half of the 16th century, excelled extraordinary wealth, but especially his renaissance bon vivant lifestyle. The work reflects his life from childhood until death, which added to the context of the time and the early modern aristocratic society and ends with a takeover of the Boskovice's legacy by the house of Liechtenstein. Based on the primary and secondary sources it deals also with the nobleman's own personality and eventually faces out to the heritage of legends and stories as well as early historiography.
