Komentovaný překlad: Socialismus a internacionála

Abstract

Cílem této práce je přeložit úryvek z knihy The First World War od Hewa Strachana a překlad okomentovat. Komentář se skládá ze tří částí. První část je věnována překladatelské analýze, která sestává z analýzy vnětextových a vnitrotextových faktorů a je orientována především na výchozí text. Druhá část je zaměřena na popis metody a typologii překladatelských problémů, které jsou ilustrovány na konkrétních překladatelských řešeních. V závěrečném oddíle je nastíněna typologie posunů, ke kterým při překladu došlo.

The aim of this thesis is to provide a translation of a section from The First World War by Hew Strachan, and a commentary on the translation. The commentary contains three parts. The first part is devoted to a translation analysis, which consists of an analysis of extratextual and intratextual factors, and is mainly source-text-oriented. The second part concentrates on a description of the method and typology of translation problems, which are supported by concrete examples. The commentary is concluded by a typology of translation shifts.
