Moslimská komunita v Indii

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o muslimské komunitě v Indii, což je všeobecně velmi široké téma. Záměrem této práce je zachytit ty nejpodstatnější rysy indické muslimské společnosti a specifikovat ji z hlediska jejího formování a fungování na indické půdě. Základním objektem této práce je komunita tvořená obyvateli Indie, kteří vyznávají islámské náboženství. Pro charakteristiku komunity je potřebné přiblížit její formování z historického hlediska, definovat pojem islám a jeho specifika ovlivněná místními indickými zvyky a v neposlední řadě vykreslit vlastnosti a správu komunity v indické společnosti.

This bachelor thesis discusses the muslim community in India, which is a broad topic. The aim of this work is to present the most important features of the indian muslim society and to specify them in terms of their formation and functioning on the Indian land. The main subject of this thesis is the community which is formed by the Indian inhabitants who profess the islamic religion. To characterise the community, it is necessary to explain its formation from historical perspective, and to define the ideas of islam and its specifications affected by indian local customs. Moreover, the features and manners of such community are described.
