Kolínská humanistická společnost na přelomu 16. a 17. století

Abstract

Predkládaná práce se zabývá kolínskou intelektuální elitou na prelomu 16. a 17. století. Vedle charakteristiky kolínského mestského organismu (sociální stratifikace, mestská a církevní správa, školství) venuje pozornost zejména vztahu meštanu k literature. Podobne jako v jiných královských mestech tvorili tamní vzdelanci etablující se z absolventu pražské univerzity volnou (neorganizovanou) spolecnost, jejíž zájmy se projevovaly nejen vlastnictvím knih a clenstvím v literátském kuru, ale i vlastní literární tvorbou zamerenou na humanistické latinské básne vydávané ve forme drobných tisku. Za pomoci rozboru pramenu mestské provenience a pramenu literární povahy se práce snaží postihnout jmenované aspekty ranenovoveké mestské kultury. Zvlášte se pak zameruje na sledování vazeb autoru na další osoby ci instituce, predevším na bývalé profesory a spolužáky z pražské univerzity, mestské rady a královské úredníky. Podstatnou cástí práce jsou medailony nejvýznamnejších osobností spjatých s Kolínem, k nimž patrili Ioannes Colerus, Matej Fragarius, Matouš Hosius, Jakub Krcín z Jelcan, Jan Pachta z Rájova a Jan Rosacius.

Presented essay is focused on intellectual elite of the town Kolín on the turn of the 16th and 17th century. Apart from the characteristics of Kolín town life structure (social stratification, town and church administration, education system) also the burgess interest for the literature is here analysed. Analogous to the social Gross in other royal towns also local erudites originating from graduates of the Prague University created a free company interested in books, memebership in the literature group and writing of latin poems in the style of humanism issued as small prints. On the basis of the analyse of urban and literature sources this study tries to describe aspects of urban culture in the period of early modern history . Namely it is concentrated on contats of authors to other persons or institutions, preferably on previous teachers and schoolmates from the University, citizen councils and royal administrators. The dominating chapter of this essay are profiles of the most important persons matched with the town Kolín - Ioannes Colerus, Matej Fragarius, Matouš Hosius, Jakub Krcín from Jelcany, Jan Pachta from Rájov and Jan Rosacius.
