Abstract

Doctoral Thesis Summary "The Belarusization Episode" in the Process of Formation of the Belarusian Nation Alena Marková The subject of this study is the phenomenon of the so-called Belarusization in the territory of the Belarusian Soviet Socialistic Republic in the 1920s. The Belarusization is a unique historical process, which was a local Belarusian equivalent of the policy sanctioned by the all-union communist government promoting national culture of the local nations (of the national languages and others) and of the policy of "indigenization" (korenizace), i. e. installment of ethnically "local" staff in the bureaus of the non-Russian republics of the Soviet Union. This study analyzes the reasoning standing behind the initiation of the Belarusization policy; the execution of this policy was supposed to strengthen the insecure stability of the newly established soviet government and soviet state, and this even at the price of a number of compromises (meaning de facto the support of a growing national movement) toward the respective republics and national intelligentsia, which played a most significant role in the Belarusian conditions. disertační práce "Bělorusizační epizoda" v procesu formování běloruského národa Alena Marková Tématem této studie je fenomén tzv. bělorusizace na území Běloruské sovětské socialistické republiky ve 20. letech 20. století. Jde o jedinečný dějinný proces, v rámci něhož byly celosvazovou komunistickou vládou podpořeny národní iniciativy (a to především rozvoj národního jazyka a jiné) a současně byla prosazovaná politika "korenizace" čili dosazování etnicky lokálních kádrů do úřadů neruských republik Sovětského svazu. Práce se zabývá rozborem důvodů zahájení politiky bělorusizace, jejíž provedení mělo upevnit nejistou stabilitu nově ustavené sovětské vlády a sovětského státu, a to za cenu řady ústupků (spočívajících de facto v podpoře narůstajícího národního hnutí) vůči jednotlivým republikám a národní inteligenci, jež v běloruských podmínkách hrála obzvláště velkou úlohu. Práce se proto věnuje roli a postavení běloruské inteligence, jež, jakkoli nebyla ve své většině v komunistické straně, přesto byla hlavní silou prosazující bělorusizaci. Spolupráce s běloruskou národní inteligencí, již jí nabídla samotná komunistická strana, byla dána nedostatkem komunistických kádrů, kteří by mohli nezřídka sociálně demokratickou či nestranickou inteligenci zastoupit.
