Verwandlungen und Konstanten des Vater-Sohn-Konflikts in der deutschen Literatur des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts

Abstract

Těžiště mé diplomové práce spočívá v literární analýze motivu vztahu otce a syna v německy psané literatuře 20. a 21. století. Cílem bylo prozkoumat na vybraných textech důvody a formy periodické aktualizace starého literárního motivu v různých fázích duchovního a společenského vývoje posledního století. Výchozí texty byly vybírány na základě reprezentativnosti pro dané téma a z hlediska časového pro jednu generaci. Jedná se o díla Das Urteil, Die Verwandlung Franze Kafky, Der Sohn Waltera Hasenclevera, Nicht der Mörder, der Ermordete ist schuldig Franze Werfela, Vatermord Arnolta Bronnena, Hamlet oder die lange Nacht nimmt ein Ende Alfreda Döblina, Der Schwarze Schwan od Martina Walsera, Das Buch des Vaters Urse Widmera a Am Seil Thomase Langa. Z důvodů velké různorodosti zpracování problematiky, vyplývající jak z individuálního charakteru tohoto vztahu, tak jeho proměn v průběhu minulého století, byly formulovány konstanty vztahu otce a syna. Tyto konstanty pak tvořily kostru práce a byly hlavním kritériem pro analýzu zkoumaných literárních děl. V první řadě byl zohledněn charakter otce a jeho vliv na výchovu a vztah k synovi, dále pak reakce syna a zvláště jeho schopnost iniciace, respektive emancipace od primární rodiny a jedna kapitola byla věnována vlivu matky na vývoj tohoto vztahu. My diploma thesis is focused on literary analysis of the motif of relationship between father and son in the German literature of the 20th and 21st century. The aim was to investigate, in selected texts, the reasons and forms of periodic updating of this old literary motif in various stages of spiritual and social development of the last century. The original texts were selected on the basis of representativeness of the topic and from the time perspective for one generation. The selection contains following texts Franz Kafka's Das Urteil, Die Verwandlung, Walter Hasenclever's Der Sohn, Nicht der Mörder, der Ermordete ist schuldig by Franz Werfel, Vatermord by Arnolt Bronnen, Hamlet oder die lange Nacht nimmt ein Ende by Alfred Döblin, Der Schwarze Schwan by Martin Walser, Das Buch des Vaters by Urs Widmer and Am Seil by Thomas Lang. Constants of the relationship between father and son have had to be identified because each particular relationship naturally bears individual features and is influenced by the time period in which it exists. The constants served as a scaffold for the thesis and were used as the main criterion for analysis of the investigated texts.
