Vratislav v době Karla IV. a Václava IV.

Abstract

Ctenári predkládaná diplomová práce je venována, jak sám název napovídá, slezskému mestu Vratislavi v dobe vlády Karla IV. a Václava IV. Práce je rozdelena do dvou cástí. První cást je venována historii Vratislavi, druhá pak její architekture. Hlavním zájmem první cásti je podat co nejpestrejší pohled na dobu vlády Karla IV. a Václava IV. ve meste. Druhá cást je zamerena predevším na sakrální architekturu Vratislavi, konkrétne na jednu linii vývoje tzv. slezské architektonické školy. Jedná so o tri nejduležitejší halové kostely Vratislavi - kolegiátní kostel sv. Kríže a Bartolomeje, kostel Panny Marie na Písku a kostel sv. Doroty. Posledne jmenovaný kostel je stredobodem zájmu této práce, nebot je jedinou fundací Karla IV. ve Vratislavi a zároven je sám o sobe stavbou prvoradého významu.

Readers of this these is devoted, as its name suggests, the Silesian city Wroclaw during the Rig of Charles IV. and Wenceslas IV. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to the history of Wroclaw, the second of its architecture. The main interest of the first part is to look at what most varied period of the reign of Charles IV. and Wenceslas IV. in the city. The second part focuses on religious architecture of Wroclaw, one particular line of development called the Silesian architectural schools. They sat on the three most important Breslau churches - the Collegiate Church of Holy Cross and Bartholomew, Church of Our Lady of the sand and church. Dorothy. The latter church is the centerpiece of this thesis, since it is the only foundation of Charles IV. Wroclaw and also building itself of great importance.
