Možnosti "zaměstnávání" dobrovolníků v českých veřejných knihovnách

Abstract

Cílem této práce je poskytnout náhled do problematiky dobrovolnictví ve veřejných knihovnách na území České republiky a podat přehled o možnostech dobrovolnické činnosti či služby v těchto institucích. V textu je nejprve vysvětlena obecná podstata dobrovolnictví, historické pozadí a terminologie. Poté se práce soustředí na vlastní síť dobrovolnických center, reflexi dobrovolnictví spolu s motivačním prvkem a legislativní úpravu této problematiky. Hlavní část práce se pak věnuje německé a české podobě dobrovolnictví v knihovnách a výsledkům dotazníkového šetření, provedeného ve vybraných knihovnách na území ČR. V závěru textu jsou shrnuty získané poznatky a nastíněny možnosti dobrovolnické práce ve veřejných knihovnách na našem území.

The main target of this diploma thesis is to focus on the area of volunteers in libraries and librarianship, mainly in the Czech Republic and try to summarize the voluntary tasks or services in these public institutions. Firstly, the text tries to explain the main ground and principles of volunteering, also the historical background and terminology. Secondly, the thesis deals with the voluntary network, their centres, reflexion, motivation and legislation. The main part focuses on the comparison of German and Czech faces of volunteering in the libraries and the results of questionnaire done in the chosen Czech libraries are presented and commented. The conclusion includes all received knowledge and information and outlines the potential possibilities of the usage of volunteers in libraries and public sector in the Czech Republic (including suggested working tasks volunteers can be used for).
