Vztah České strany sociálně demokratické a Komunistické strany Čech a Moravy po roce 1989

Abstract

Diploma thesis "The relationships between Czech Social Democratic Party and the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia after 1989" deals with the relation between these two parties after the communist regime in Czechoslovakia collapsed. First of all, basic differences between social democratic and communist movement are defined. Even though both ideologies have common roots they separated rather quickly. Than it describes development of Czech Social Democratic Party and since 1921 is examining Communist Party of Czechoslovakia till 1948. The effort of renewal of social democratic party in 1968 has its own chapter. Development of party system and position of both left-wing parties examine the second main part of this diploma work. Communist party of Bohemia and Moravia was not transformed and stayed in the political isolation. Czech Social Democratic Party became strongest party on the left and one of the two most influential parties in the Czech Republic. Communists move from the isolation to cooperation with social democrats. Finally, demography of voters and transformation of Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia are described. Diplomová práce "Vztah České strany sociálně demokratické a Komunistické strany Čech a Moravy" pojednává o vztahu těchto dvou stran po pádu komunistického režimu v Československu. Na úvod nastiňuje rozdíly mezi sociálně demokratickým a komunistickým hnutím. Poté sleduje vývoj sociální demokracie a od roku 1921 komunistické strany na českém území. Popisuje nelehký vztah obou levicových stran v první, druhé i třetí republice. Roku 1968 a snaze o obnovu sociální demokracie se věnuje samostatná kapitola. Po roce 1989 popisuje vývoj a pozici obou stran ve stranickém systému. Komunistická strana neprošla transformací a zůstala tak v izolaci v pozici extrémní levice, zatímco ČSSD se stala jednou ze dvou nejsilnějších stran v zemi a dominantním subjektem na levici. Postupně dochází k oslabování izolace KSČM a k užší spolupráci s ČSSD. Na závěr je uvedena jedna kapitola o demografii voličů KSČM a jedna kapitola o její transformaci.
