Diplomová práce "Konflikt pracovních a rodinných rolí a jak mu čelit" se primárně zaměřuje na identifikaci příčin obtížného slaďování pracovních a rodinných povinností, následně pak na detekci a popsání derivátů zmíněného konfliktu a v neposlední řadě na srovnání významných ukazatelů a konkrétních sociálních (rodinných) politik, které se k harmonizaci práce a rodiny úzce pojí. Tato komparace byla provedena mezi Českou republikou a vybranými členskými státy Evropské unie. Primární metodou zpracování byla použita sekundární analýza dat, analýza právního rámce, analýza strategických, odborných a jiných relevantních dokumentů. Mezi další metodu lze zařadit srovnávací analýzu rodinných politik vybraných členských zemí Evropské unie. Ve studii je vycházeno ze tří základních teoretických modelů, a sice z teorie sociálního státu, teorie rovnosti a konceptu lidského potenciálu. V diplomové práci jsou tedy analyzovány základní determinanty konfliktu harmonizace pracovních a rodinných povinností, konsekvence, ve které problém graduje a možné návrhy na zlepšení, které je v tomto kontextu třeba v České republice učinit.
This MA theses primary focuses on cause consequence analysis of work-family balance. The next point of this paper is comparative analysis of key figures regarding this conflict in the course of Czech Republic and selected country of European Union. Main method used in the thesis is secondary data analysis, analysis of the relevant laws and other. Next method used in this paper is comparative analysis of family policies in the context of member states of Europe Union. MA thesis goes out from Welfare State theory, equality theory and the concept of human potential. In this MA thesis is analyzed basic determinants of the work-family conflict, its consequences and last but not least reforms of social policy that is feasible for the Czech Republic.
