Práva a potřeby dětí staršího školního věku

Abstract

Ústředním tématem diplomové práce je deskripce práv a potřeb dětí s důrazem na práva dětí v nemocnici zakotvená etickým kodexem Charta práv dětí v nemocnici. Teoretická část vedle práv hospitalizovaných dětí podává přehled o základních lidských potřebách a vývojových specificích dítěte školního věku a adolescenta. Probírá negativní důsledky neuspokojení potřeb dítěte a popisuje jejich symptomy. Hlavním obsahem diplomové práce je deskriptivní studie, která má za cíl zmapovat informovanost dětských pacientů, hospitalizovaných na třech pražských fakultních pracovištích poskytujících léčebně preventivní pediatrickou péči, o Chartě práv dětí v nemocnici. Součástí práce je vyhodnocení naplňování jednotlivých práv Charty v praxi. Za tímto účelem byla provedena malá klinická studie. Data byla získána formou dobrovolného a anonymního vyplnění dotazníku. Sledovaný soubor tvořilo 53 respondentů ve věku od 6 do 18 let. Z výsledků vyplynul nejzávažnější deficit v informovanosti dětských pacientů o Chartě práv dětí v nemocnici. Povědomí o její existenci měla necelá 1/3 respondentů. Lékař nebo zdravotní sestra zastupovali v seznamování s Chartou minoritní úlohu. The main topic of this diploma thesis is to describe the rights and needs of children, focused on children rights in the hospitals as embedded in the ethical codex of the Charter of the Rights of Children in Hospital. The theoretical part summarizes the rights of hospitalized children, basic human needs and developmental specifics of a schoolchild or adolescent. It is concerned with negative consequences of not satisfying the children's needs and describes the symptoms. The main part of this thesis is a descriptive treatise with the aim to map the knowledgeability of the Charter of the Rights of Children in Hospital among the child patients, hospitalized at three Prague teaching facilities providing medically preventive pediatric care. Part of this thesis is also an evaluation of the fulfillment of the individual rights in the Chart in praxis. A small clinical treatise was carried out for this purpose. The data was collected with a voluntary and anonymous questionnaire. 53 respondents in the age of 6 to 18 years comprised the studied data set. The results provided the most important deficit in the child patient's knowledgeability of the Chart. Not even 1/3 of the respondents was aware of its existence.
