Proces asimilace západní hudby v moderním Japonsku

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá procesem přejímání západní hudby v Japonsku v období Meidži (1868-1912) a Taišó (1912-1926). V počáteční kapitole je shrnuta politická, společenská a kulturní situace v Japonsku v době prvního seznámení se západní hudbou v polovině 19. století. V dalších kapitolách jsou popsány druhy japonské hudby a proces, v jakém byla západní hudba postupně do japonské společnosti zaváděna zřizováním hudebních institucí a pomocí praktické i teoretické výuky. Ve čtvrté kapitole je popsána fáze integrace západní hudby do japonského kulturního prostředí v letech přelomu století a po I. světové válce. V závěru je proces integrace západní hudby do japonské společnosti ve sledovaném období periodizován a zhodnocen.

This bachelor thesis deals with the process of assimilation of the Western music in the Japanese society during the Meiji and Taisho periods. The introductory chapter outlines the Japanese political, social and cultural situation during the period of the initiative encounter with the Western music. The following two chapters describe the traditional forms of Japanese music and the process of gradual assimilation of Western music through practical and theoretical education and various institutions and associations. The fourth chapter deals with the state of integration of Western music into the Japanese cultural milieu in the years following the First World War. The closing part sums up the process of integration of Western music into Japanese culture.
