Štětec jako nástroj na cestě k probuzení: Zen v kontextu japonské tušové malby a kaligrafie

Abstract

Cílem této práce je nastínit problematiku japonské zenové tušové malby a kaligrafie, a to pfiedevším co se týče její duchovní stránky. Obsahuje obecný úvod do zenového buddhismu, dále rozpracovává zenovou malbu a kaligrafii z hlediska jejích formálních znaků, historického vývoje a duchovního kontextu. Zahrnuje též několik dosavadních teorií týkajících se definice zenového umění.

This thesis is focused on the Japanese Zen ink painting and calligraphy, particularly regarding its spiritual aspect. Contains a brief introduction to Zen Buddhism, followed by an analysis of Zen painting in the terms of its formal attributes, historical development and the spiritual context. It also includes some of the main theories regarding the definition of Zen art.
