It is aimed atclarifying the importance of the work of nurses in managements positions. There are important factors related to the leadership and their connection of nursing management area in the theoretical part. There are results of research survey in the practical part which investigates with intensity of nurse's work who are working at lower and middle level of management, identifies not only problems but also the motivating factors of their work. The supplement is the entire text of the questionnaire and materials related to this topic. The purpose of this work is also to highlight the work of nurses in managerial positions, which is very difficult, because they are an important interlink between the management of medical equipment and nurses at the lowest levels whose result of their work is evaluated by a satisfaction of the patient. Bakalářská práce s názvem Role sestry ve vedoucí funkci se skládá za tří částí: teoretické, empirické a příloh. Je zaměřena na objasnění významu práce sester ve vedoucích funkcích. V teoretické části jsou specifikovány důležité faktory se vztahem k vedení, a jejich propojení v oblasti ošetřovatelského managementu. V praktické části jsou předloženy výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které zjišťuje náročnost práce sester pracujících na nižším a středním stupni managementu, identifikuje nejen problémy, ale i motivující faktory jejich práce. V přílohách je celé znění dotazníku a materiály související s touto problematikou. Účelem práce je také upozornit na práci sester ve vedoucích funkcích, která je velice náročná, protože jsou významným mezičlánkem mezi vedením zdravotnického zařízení a sestrami na nejnižších úrovních, jejichž výsledek práce hodnotí pacient svou spokojeností.
