Souvislosti důchodového systému a chudoby ve stáří v České republice

Abstract

This bachelor work deals with the issue of the pension system in the Czech Republic and its influence on poverty of Czech pensioners. The concept of old age and the ageing process is described in the first parts of the work. The concept of poverty of pensioners, the method of its measurement and the objective and subjective perspective on the poverty follows. The most important demographic indicators and their influence on the future development of the age structure in the Czech Republic are dealt with in the fourth part of this work. Next chapters describe the current pension system in the Czech Republic and its potential problems in connection with demographic changes. Last chapter points out the necessity of the reform of the pension system, the reasons of financial indefensibility of the current system and existing course and potential continuation of reform.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou důchodového systému v ČR a jeho vlivem na chudobu seniorů. V prvních částech práce je popsán koncept stáří a stárnutí, dále pak koncept chudoby seniorů, způsob jejího měření a objektivní a subjektivní pohled na ni. Ve čtvrté části práce jsou uvedeny nejdůležitější demografické ukazatele a jejich vliv na budoucí vývoj věkové struktury obyvatel v ČR. Další část popisuje současný důchodový systém v ČR a jeho možné problémy v souvislosti s demografickými změnami. V poslední části práce je zdůrazněna nutnost reformy důchodového systému, důvody pro finanční neudržitelnost současného systému a dosavadní průběh a možné pokračování důchodové reformy.
