Historický vývoj české andragogiky a její významné osobnosti

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá historickým vývojem české andragogiky a jejími významnými osobnostmi. Úvodní část práce pojednává o vzniku, vývoji a současném stavu andragogiky ve světě a jejím současném pojetí v České republice, vymezuje její vztah k pojmu vzdělávání dospělých a zároveň představuje andragogiku jako vědní a studijní obor a pole praxe. Další část popisuje historický vývoj andragogiky v Čechách. Stěžejní část práce se věnuje historickým a současným významným osobnostem české andragogiky. Přibližuje životní příběhy osmnácti osobností, které se v období od 60. let až do současnosti odborně zabývaly nebo stále zabývají otázkami výchovy a vzdělávání dospělých. Práce přináší doposud neznámá a jedinečná fakta o životě a tvůrčí činnosti mnohých osobností a některé osobnosti představuje vůbec poprvé.

The thesis addresses the historical evolution of Czech andragogy and its prominent figures. The introductory section of the thesis discusses the emergence, evolution and current state of andragogy in the world and its present-day conception in the Czech Republic, defines its relationship in regard to the term of adult education and, at the same time, presents andragogy as a scientific discipline and field of study, as well as an area of professional practice. The subsequent section describes the historical evolution of andragogy in the Czech domain. The central part of the thesis is devoted to the historical and present-day prominent figures of Czech andragogy. It profiles the life stories of 18 prominent figures, from the period of time from the 1960's until now, who have professionally pursued or are still professionally pursuing matters regarding the training and education of adults. The thesis provides previously unknown and unique facts regarding the lives and creative activities of many prominent figures and introduces some of these individuals for the first time ever.
