Abstract

SOUHRN: Název práce: Ověřování teorie kódů v elektroléčbě při použití TENS. Thesis title: Validation of the coding theory in TENS utilizing electrotherapy Jméno a příjmení autora: Bc. Eva Horká Cíl práce: Potvrzení existence teorie kódů v elektroléčbě při tlumení bolesti elektroanalgetickými proudy typu TENS (transkutánní elektrická neurostimulace). Metoda: Diplomová práce je zpracována na podkladě pilotního experimentu, který je založen na zkoumání využitelnosti TENS proudů při tlumení bolesti. Experiment je proveden u deseti pacientů (muži i ženy ve věku 20-30 let) s chronickými bolestmi bederní části zad s využitím zhodnocení bolesti pomocí vizuální analogové škály. Účinek terapie je zhodnocen opět pomocí vizuální analogové škály bezprostředně po terapii a následující den před terapií. Pro ověření účinku byla terapie opakována každý den celkem pětkrát. Vzhledem k nízkému počtu pacientů má výzkum pilotní charakter a jeho výsledky nejsou statisticky zpracovány. Výsledky: Jak se uvádí v teorii (Nafe, 1934; Weddell, 1955; Sinclair, 1955), dojde ke zmírnění bolesti alespoň o jeden stupeň na vizuální analogové škále, ovšem k absolutnímu ústupu bolesti po jedné terapii nedochází. Method: The thesis is elaborated on the basis of the pilot study, which is based to investigate the usability of TENS currents in pain.
