Koncept smrti v textech českých metalových hudebních skupin

Abstract

Smrt je jedním z ústředních témat dějin lidstva, od počátku věků přitahovala pozornost a zároveň v)n^olávala obavy. Postupem času se dokonce téma smrti stalo jedním z jazykových tabu. V této práci se zaměřujeme na komplexní, především pak kognitivně-sémantickou analýzu konceptu smrti v kontextu současné české metalové hudební scény. Pojem smrti zkoumáme z hlediska sémaziologického i onomaziologického. Využíváme výsledků analýzy textů současných metalových kapel, ve kterých je téma smrti velmi frekventované. Zastavujeme se u častých atributů smrti, jejích konceptuálních metafor (tak, jak je vymezili Lakoff a Johnson] a také motivů a témat se smrtí souvisejících.

The death is one of the central themes in mankind history; since ever; it has drawn the attention and evoked anxiety at the same time. The theme of death became a language taboo as the time passed. In this study is aimed on a complex and furthermore cognitive-semantic analysis of the death concept in the context of the contemporary Czech metal scene. The concept of the death has been analyzed both from the viewpoint of semasiology and onomasiology. When using the result of the analysis of contemporaiy metal lyrics, where the topic of the death is heavily frequented, we do stick at repeated attributes of the death, its conceptual metaphors [as defined by Lakoff and Johnson) and also motives and topics dealing with the death itself.
