Ústředním předmětem bádání není klinická klasifikace psychických stavů, nýbrž způsob, jakým analyzované autorky konstruují ženskou jinakost a nakládají s motivem šílenství jako s aktivním narativním nástrojem subverze patriarchálních struktur. Teoretické východisko studie se opírá o syntézu klasické strukturalistické naratologie a přístupu feministické naratologie, přičemž klade důraz na neoddělitelné propojení vyprávěcí formy a genderové ideologie. Prostřednictvím konceptů vnitřní fixní fokalizace, nespolehlivého vyprávění a míst nedourčenosti je analyzován proces postupného rozkladu subjektivity hrdinek. Pozornost je dále věnována symbolice prostředí a specifickým zvukovým či přírodním motivům, jež fungují jako mimetické zrcadlo vnitřního rozpoložení protagonistek, stejně jako tematizaci hranice mezi normalitou a společensky stereotypizovanými ženskými obsesemi. Cílem interpretace je odhalit, jak odlišné narativní strategie vedou k vykreslení postavy balancující na hranici podivnosti a jakým způsobem formální rozpad textu artikuluje zkušenost vytěsnění a traumatu. This bachelor's thesis examines the archetype of a woman on the verge of madness in the novels Do tmy and Před povodní by Anna Bolavá, and Lapači prachu and Smrtholka by Lucie Faulerová. The central focus of the research is not the clinical classification of mental states, but rather the ways in which the analyzed authors construct female otherness and employ madness as an active narrative tool for subverting patriarchal structures. The theoretical framework of the study is based on a synthesis of classical structuralist narratology and feminist narratology, emphasizing the inseparable link between narrative form and gender ideology. Through the concepts of internal fixed focalization, unreliable narration, and narrative gaps, the thesis analyzes the gradual disintegration of the protagonists' subjectivity. Furthermore, attention is paid to the symbolism of space and specific natural or acoustic motifs that function as a mimetic mirror of the characters' internal psychological states, as well as to the thematization of the boundary between normality and socially stereotyped female obsessions. The aim of the interpretation is to reveal how distinct narrative strategies contribute to portraying a character balancing on the edge of strangeness, and how the formal disintegration of the text articulates...
