Komentovaný překlad vybraných kapitol z knihy Erzgebirge: auf Entdeckungsreise im traditionsreichen Grenzland (Manfred Kittel, 1993)

Abstract

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je překlad vybraných kapitol z turistického průvodce Erzgebirge: auf Entdeckungsreise im traditionsreichen Grenzland na základě fiktivní zakázky a odborný komentář. Ten obsahuje překladatelskou analýzu výchozího textu podle Christiane Nordové, popis fiktivní zakázky a metody překladu, nakonec jsou popsány překladatelské problémy a postupy, kterými bylo možné jednotlivé jevy řešit. Tím vznikl funkční překlad pro cílového adresáta.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to provide an annotated translation of select chapters from the travel guide Erzgebirge: auf Entdeckungsreise im traditionsreichen Grenzland, in accordance with a hypothetically commissioned assignment. The annotation consists of a translation analysis of the original text based on the model from Christiane Nord. It also describes the hypothetical translation assignment; the method of translation used; and finally, the particular issues in translation along with the translation techniques utilized for their resolution. This approach resulted in an accurate and functional translation for target recipients.
