Kommentierte Übersetzung von ausgewählten Auszügen aus: Jan Praško, Barbora Buliková, Zuzana Sigmundová "Depresivní porucha a jak ji překonat" (2009)

Abstract

Die vorliegenden Bachelorarbeit befasst sich mit der kommentierten Übersetzung ausgewählter Kapitel des tschechischen Handbuchs Depresivní porucha a jak ji překonat von Ján Praško, Barbora Buliková und Zuzana Sigmundová ins Deutsche. Ziel ist es, die Herausforderungen bei der Übersetzung eines psychologischen Textes für ein Laienpublikum aufzuzeigen. Die Arbeit besteht aus einem praktischen und einem theoretischen Teil. Der erste Teil besteht aus der Übersetzung und der zweite aus dem Kommentar zur Übersetzung. Dabei wurde als Basis die Ausgangstextanalyse nach Christiane Nord verwendet. Neben der Ausgangstextanalyse werden die hypothetische Anfrage, die Übersetzungsstrategie, die Übersetzungsprobleme und Übersetzungsverfahren thematisiert. This bachelor thesis presents an annotated translation of selected chapters from the Czech manual Depresivní porucha a jak ji překonat by Ján Praško, Barbora Buliková und Zuzana Sigmundová into German. The primary objective is to highlight the specific challenges involved in translating a text with a psychological topic intended for a lay audience. The thesis is structured into a practical and theoretical section: the first part contains the translation itself, while the second part provides a detailed commentary on the translation process. The analysis is based on Christiane Nord's model of source text analysis. In addition to the source analysis, the thesis addresses the hypothetical translation brief, the overarching translation strategy, as well as specific translation problems and techniques employed.
