The presented Bachelor's thesis maps the phenomenon of Bud Spencer and his cinematography in Hungary and also the attempt of István Bujtor to create a Hungarian version of the Italian film series Flatfoot. In the theoretical part of the thesis, Bud Spencer is first presented, as well as Hungary's interest in him, followed by the breakdown of several reviews of his films from period press. In the following section, the specific genre of discussed movies is analyzed - the author uses the already existing term "spaghetti western" and also dissects the innovative term "spaghetti grotesque" created by András Kocsányi. Features of both of these genres are shown through the example of the movie They Call Me Trinity. The thesis seeks to explain the popularity of these specific genres outside of Italy with the focus on Hungary, where the popularity was stronger than in Czechia. Further in the thesis, the Hungarian actor and director István Bujtor is presented, namely his work known under the term "Csöpi films", with the focus on their reception by the Hungarian public. The author compares the Italian detective Piedone with the Hungarian Csöpi by setting the films Flatfoot and The Pagan Madonna side-by-side. In the practical part of the thesis, the author presents the results of two surveys made with both...
