Synestetické metafory v knize Jakuba Stanjury Srpny

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje fenoménu synestézie a zaměřuje se na zkoumání synestetických metafor v románu Jakuba Stanjury Srpny. Ústředním tématem románu je psychické zdraví a mezilidské vztahy.Hlavní hrdinka Daniela je obětí gaslightingu,zvláštní formy psychického násilí,při kterém manipulovaná osoba začíná zpochybňovat vlastní paměť a vnímání reality. Daniela reflektuje své zkušenosti s gaslightingem v prostředí vlastní rodiny prostřednictvím pokusu o napsání románu. Těžištěm naší práce bude analýza synestetickýchmetafor v díle Jakuba Stanjury,jejich třídění podle zastoupení jednotlivých smyslů v synestetickém přenosu a zkoumání jejich funkce v textu. Pokusíme se též usouvztažnit vnímání, resp. popisování světa prostřednictvím synestetických metafor s traumatizujícím účinkem gaslightingu, který radikálně mění u své oběti její způsob vnímání reality. Práce bude rozdělena do dvou částí.V teoretické části prozkoumáme pojmy synestezie, synestetickámetafora a gaslighting.V praktické části se zaměříme na analýzu literárníhotextu románu Srpny a propojenost používaných metafor a psychického stavu hlavní postavy. This bachelor's thesis explores the phenomenon of synesthesia and focuses on the analysis of synesthetic metaphors in Jakub Stanjura's novel Srpny. The central themes of the novel are mental healthandinterpersonal relationships.The maincharacter,Daniela,is a victim of gaslighting -a specific form of psychological abuse in which the manipulatedpersonbegins to doubt their own memory and perception of reality. Daniela reflects on her experience with gaslighting within her family through an attempt to write a novel. The core of this thesis lies in the analysis of synesthetic metaphors in Stanjura's work, their classificationaccordingtothe sensorymodalities involvedinthe synesthetic transfer,and the examination of their function within the text. We also aim to relate perception and description of the world through synesthetic metaphors to the traumatic effects of gaslighting, which fundamentally alter the victim's perception of reality. The thesis is divided intotwo parts.
