Podoby a funkce cizojazyčných prvků v románu "Šlechtické hnízdo" a v jeho českých překladech.

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu cizojazyčných pasáží v románu "Šlechtické hnízdo" Ivana Sergejeviče Turgeněva a na jejich zpracování v českých překladech z let 1933, 1956 a 1972. V teoretické části práce se přibližuje základní pojmosloví teorie uměleckého překladu a problematika cizojazyčnosti v uměleckém textu. Praktická část je založena na analýze vybraných úryvků z románu a jejich českých překladů. Zaměřuje se na klasifikaci použitých překladatelských postupů a jejich komparaci. Součástí analýzy je také kvantitativní zpracování cizojazyčných pasáží prostřednictvím grafů, které zachycují frekvenci jednotlivých překladatelských strategií. Cílem práce je posoudit adekvátnost jednotlivých překladatelských řešení a sledovat proměny přístupu k těmto prvkům v čase.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of foreign-language passages in Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev's novel "A Nest of the Gentry" and their treatment in Czech translations from 1933, 1956, and 1972. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the basic terminology of literary translation theory and the issue of foreign-language elements in literary texts. The practical part is based on an analysis of selected excerpts from the novel and their Czech translations. It focuses on the classification of the translation strategies used and their comparison. The analysis also includes a quantitative examination of foreign-language passages using graphs that illustrate the frequency of individual translation strategies. The aim of the thesis is to assess the adequacy of individual translation solutions and to track changes in the approach to these elements over time.
