Vztah copingových strategií a syndromu vyhoření u sociálních pracovníků v paliativní péči

Abstract

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit vztah mezi copingem a syndromem vyhoření u sociálních pracovníků v paliativní péči. Nejprve práce charakterizuje paliativní péči a profesi sociálního pracovníka v paliativní péči. Dále se zaměřuje na téma pracovní zátěže a stresu a způsobů jejich zvládání (copingu). Představuje copingové strategie a způsoby jejich klasifikace. Následně věnuje pozornost zdrojům stresu a syndromu vyhoření u sociálních pracovníků v paliativní péči, jimi uplatňovaným copingovým strategiím a vztahu těchto strategií k míře syndromu vyhoření. Cílem kvantitativního empirického šetření je identifikovat vztah preferovaných copingových strategií a syndromu vyhoření u sociálních pracovníků v paliativní péči v České republice. Zúčastnilo se 38 respondentů a byl zjištěn statisticky významný vztah mezi preferovanými copingovými strategiemi a mírou syndromu vyhoření u tohoto vzorku sociálních pracovníků v paliativní péči. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate the relationship between coping and burnout syndrome in social workers in palliative care. First, the thesis characterizes palliative care and the profession of the social worker in palliative care. It then focuses on the topic of workload and stress and ways of coping. It introduces coping strategies and ways of their classification. It then focuses on the sources of stress and burnout in palliative care social work, the coping strategies these workers use and the relationship of these strategies to burnout. The aim of the included quantitative empirical research is to identify the relationship between preferred coping strategies and burnout syndrome among social workers in palliative care in the Czech Republic. Thirty-eight respondents participated and a statistically significant relationship was found between preferred coping strategies and the rate of burnout syndrome in this sample of social workers in palliative care.
