The List Edge Coloring Conjecture states that the list edge chromatic number of any graph equals its edge chromatic number. This conjecture remains open, among others, for the class of 3-regular graphs, which could potentially contain a counterexample - specifically, a 3-regular graph with an edge chromatic number of 3 and a list edge chromatic number of 4. In this thesis, we design and implement a program dedicated to experimentally searching for such counterexamples. Our approach is based on the Alon- Tarsi method and its extension proposed by Zdeněk Dvořák, which derives constraints on list assignments from which the graph cannot be colored, using the coefficients of the graph polynomial. The satisfiability of these constraints is modeled and solved using the Picat language (utilizing CP and SAT solvers), and the remaining candidates are subsequently verified via brute force. Using the developed program, we verified that all 3-regular graphs with at most 8 vertices satisfy the conjecture, and no counterexample was found.
