Trayectorias de la literatura checa traducida al español

Abstract

This thesis examines the history of Czech literature translated into Spanish and published in book form. The research covers the production of literary translations from the early twentieth century up to the year 2023. Unlike previous academic studies (Cuenca Drouhard 2013, Nováková 2015, Mračková Vavroušová 2019, Corachán Swidzinská 2022), this thesis does not impose a geographical limitation on the place of publication and includes both the territory of Czechia and regions of the Spanish-speaking Americas that have not yet been examined in detail. The main objective is to trace the trajectories of Czech literature in Spanish translation and to analyse their transformations over time and space, taking into account the social and historical perspectives of the cultures in contact. The first part of the thesis establishes the theoretical and methodological framework and includes a reflection on various factors involved in the production and publication of literary translations that circulate between two geographically and culturally distant polysystems. Tato disertační práce zkoumá historii knižních překladů české literatury do španělštiny. Výzkum zahrnuje literární překlady od prvních publikací na počátku 20. století do roku 2023. Na rozdíl od předchozích akademických prací (Cuenca Drouhard 2013, Nováková 2015, Mračková Vavroušová 2019, Corachán Swidzinská 2022) neuplatňuje geografické omezení místa vydání a zahrnuje jak území Česka, tak region hispánské Ameriky, které dosud nebyly podrobně zkoumány. Cílem disertace je sledovat trajektorie české literatury v překladech do španělštiny a analyzovat jejich proměny v čase a prostoru s ohledem na sociální a historickou perspektivu kultur, které spolu vstupují do kontaktu. První část práce vymezuje teoreticko-metodologický rámec a zahrnuje reflexi o aspektech souvisejících s procesem vzniku a publikování literárního překladu, který cestuje mezi dvěma geograficky a kulturně vzdálenými polysystémy. Další část se zaměřuje na specifika historiografického výzkumu v éře nových technologií a představuje databázi TraduCzechLit, vytvořenou na základě bibliografických údajů shromážděných pro účely této práce.
