Rozpínání rukopisů O možných podobách českých "écrits bruts"

Abstract

This dissertation explores the field of écrits bruts-"raw texts" emerging outside the conventional literary field-and represents agrubably the first comprehensive attempt to map this phenomenon within the Czech academic environment. The starting point is the terminological and historical contribution of Michel Thévoz, who introduced the concept of écrits bruts in 1978 as the written equivalent of Jean Dubuffet's art brut. The thesis critically examines Thévoz's central claim that authors of raw texts show no interest in communication, and contrasts it with its own interpretation: raw writing is not a hermetic escape, but a desperately intense attempt to capture experiences that transcend the possibilities of ordinary language. The theoretical part focuses on the debate among Thévoz, Vincent Capt, André Blavier, and other scholars, while also recording its Czech echoes, for instance in Vladimír Borecký's theory of ludism. The analytical section searches for Czech manuscripts corresponding to the characteristics of écrits bruts and specifies why they are found primarily in less predictable literary sources, such as the discoveries of Bohumil Hrabal or Zbyněk Havlíček, or in the texts of spiritists and various manuscripts of so-called extravagant graphomaniacs. Disertační práce se věnuje oblasti écrits bruts - "surových textů" vznikajících mimo konvenční literární pole - a je zřejmě prvním uceleným pokusem o jeho zmapování v českém akademickém prostředí. Výchozím bodem je terminologický a historický příspěvek Michela Thévoze, který v roce 1978 pojem écrits bruts zavedl jako psanou obdobu art brut Jeana Dubuffeta. Práce kriticky prověřuje Thévozovo ústřední tvrzení, že autoři surových textů nejeví žádný zájem o komunikaci, a staví proti němu vlastní výklad: surové psaní není hermetickým únikem, ale zoufale vypjatým pokusem zachytit zkušenosti, jež přesahují možnosti běžného jazyka. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na debatu mezi Thévozem, Vincencem Captem, André Blavierem a dalšími badateli a zaznamenává i její české ohlasy například v teorii ludismu Vladimíra Boreckého. Analytická část hledá české rukopisy odpovídající vlastnostem écrits bruts a upřesňuje, proč je nachází především v méně předvídatelných literárních pramenech, jako jsou nálezy Bohumila Hrabala nebo Zbyňka Havlíčka, případně texty spiritistů nebo různé rukopisy tzv. extravagantních grafomanů. Těžiště práce tvoří rozsáhlá analýza rukopisů Zdeňka Koška (1949-2015), autora světově proslulých "meteorologických" obrazců, jejichž čtení vyžaduje vlastní metodologický přístup.
